- Check which version of the app you are using. Update to the latest version of the App.
- Open Safari or another web browser on the same device and try to load the Brandmate website, e.g. https://groupcode.brandm8.com (where 'groupcode' is your company's identifying code).
- Does the page load? Are you able to log in to the site OK?
- If you can log in, confirm that the Live Checklist Management page operates as expected
- If you cannot log in, please report what errors you get and what you see on the page
- Try switching the Brandmate app to view checklists for another location e.g. a test restaurant. Use the ☰ icon in the top left of the modules page and tap Change next to where your restaurant name is shown.
- Do checklists for this other location load?
- If they do, switch back to the first location and see if your checklists load
- If they do not load, it implies that your device cannot get data to the Brandmate servers
- If you are using WiFi, switch to another WiFi network if available. If not, try switching to 3G/4G.
- Once you have switched network, try loading the checklist list again
- Refresh again using the circle arrow button in the top right.
- If it still says Offline, go back to the first page on the app (if you are not there already) and refresh there. If you are on the first page of the app and it's still not ending Offline mode, try the switch location procedure listed previously
- If it stills says Offline, force quit the app (on most devices this is done by double-tapping the home button and swiping up on the BrandM8 'card')
- Log in to BrandM8 again and see if Offline mode ends
- Ensure you are not refreshing the module page in a wireless deadzone.
- Deadzones are areas where wireless signals have difficulty penetrating. Common deadzones are walk-in freezers and refrigerators.
